In God's sight a living faith is rarest treasure

1.
In God’s sight a living faith is rarest treasure.
Through the earth His eyes are searching to and fro,
Seeking those who hold this faith in goodly measure.
To each one who has this faith His help will flow.
Chorus:
Brother, sister, never once your faith surrender,
For its pow’r is mighty even to this day.
Just as saints of old by faith won heav’nly splendor,
You can triumph and be saved upon faith’s way.
2.
Without faith we cannot please our heav’nly Master;
For God hates what comes from unbelief and doubt.
In the desert, thus, did Israel meet disaster;
From the Land of Promise they were then kept out.
3.
Never say, “It won’t succeed—I cannot do it.”
All is possible for you if you believe,
For through love your faith will work if you pursue it;
Jesus’ virtues then you richly will receive.
4.
To God’s promises hold fast with full assurance,
For the Lord Himself, He is the guarantee.
Though impossible it looks, run with endurance.
You will taste and see God’s pow’r for victory.
5.
What the Bible says lay hold of when you read it,
And have faith that it is written just for you.
You’ll gain power in temptation when you need it;
You’ll inherit all God’s promises so true.
