Hosts of darkness against us strive with might.
With the Sword of the Spirit we fight.
Though the battle be fierce,
Through the darkness we pierce,
E’er advancing in vict’ry and light.
We stand firm on the evil day girded;
Truth and justice, the armor we wear.
Soon we’ll stand when we’ve done all and conquered;
As o’ercomers Christ’s glory we’ll share.
