Hallelujah, Lord, we're singing

1.
Hallelujah, Lord, we’re singing—
Lamb of God, with praises ringing!
For our sins You paid the price
As a holy sacrifice.
2.
Hallelujah, great O’ercomer
Who brings joy and endless summer!
Through Your death and life anew
Now the bruised reed triumphs too.
3.
Hallelujah! We’re empowered!
Through the cross our sin’s devoured,
Freeing us from carnal ways.
Now we serve the Lord with praise.
4.
Hallelujah! Night is fleeing,
And God’s kingdom we are seeing!
Christ, the Son that God did send,
Brings all things to their full end.
5.
Hallelujah! ’Twas to save us,
Father, You Your own Son gave us.
We were sinners, poor, depraved.
Now through Christ we can be saved.
