I love my Lord who loved me first

1.
I love my Lord who loved me first.
My Jesus quenches all my thirst.
He heals my wounds and comforts me.
My heart’s delight, my all is He.
2.
His fullness He with me now shares;
He sets me free from all my cares.
There’s none like Him in pow’r arrayed.
All things before His feet are laid.
3.
Let “self” be buried in the grave.
Condemn each lust that would enslave.
Not one good thing does flesh contain.
There vain demands and clamour reign.
4.
By faith be crucified to sin;
Then you’ll become like Christ within.
He’ll free you from sin’s mire and shame,
Forevermore to praise His name!
