In my heart there's jubilation

1.
In my heart there’s jubilation—
Jesus gives me revelation;
Now with all my heart I joyfully can say:
I have found the way to heaven,
And God’s kingdom grows like leaven;
It increases in me gloriously each day.
Chorus:
Lord, we praise Thee! Lord, we praise Thee!
By Thy wisdom Thou didst call us to this wondrous life divine.
We would please Thee. We would please Thee.
Praise and honor shall forevermore be Thine!
2.
I’m from chains of sin delivered,
From the yoke of bondage severed!
On the way of life I boldly can progress.
By the Spirit He doth lead me;
From sin’s night the cross has freed me;
I am filled with peace and joy and righteousness!
3.
Far from empty, worldly reason,
I will harvest in due season
In God’s kingdom fruits that ever shall remain.
He gives pow’r to do His pleasure,
And I gather hidden treasure.
By obeying Him I’ve true eternal gain.
4.
By the mighty light He’s given,
From me darkness now is driven;
All the vile will be consumed where light shines in.
When I’ve stood the purging fire,
Godly weapons I acquire
To wage battle for the Lord against all sin.
5.
Jesus leads with unfurled banner,
And we follow in like manner;
We will go with Him wherever He may lead.
“Storm the foe!” we hear Him calling.
Satan’s mighty hosts are falling.
Christ is Captain, and we therefore shall succeed!
