Unto us Christ's mind is given

1.
Unto us Christ’s mind is given
In and by God’s Son, our Lord.
Jesus’ life divine from heaven
Is the lasting, true reward.
Now the mind that in Him was
Also can abide in us.
This we will receive from Christ
When we to self are sacrificed.
2.
In Christ Jesus hope we’re given
Of the glorious life ahead.
We are by His Spirit driven,
Thus we out from self are led.
If we’d pure and spotless be,
We from self-life must be free.
If for Him our lives we give,
Then blameless in His sight we’ll live.
3.
We in You will serve, dear Jesus.
Lead us by Your mighty hand.
In Your love that never ceases,
Help us one in Spirit stand.
May one mind within us dwell,
With one hope, one faith as well,
One in speech and purpose too.
In You alone there’s oneness true.
4.
No demands—our all we’re giving.
’Tis Christ’s mind of sacrifice.
Suffer, bear, and be forgiving;
“Not my will, but Yours”—the price.
All God’s fullness Christ did gain.
He as all in all does reign.
Praise His name, for we believe
That we His fullness will receive.
