I'm happy in salvation; I'm happy in the Lord

1.
I’m happy in salvation; I’m happy in the Lord;
He forgave my sins, and now He teaches me His Word.
I’ve a living hope that holds me up and gives me peace:
’Tis that I soon shall see my Savior as He is.
Chorus:
Soon He is coming; O happy, glorious day!
Then for Jesus’ bride shall all her sorrows pass away.
Think what rejoicing will arise from all of them
Who then may move into the New Jerusalem!
2.
O Jesus is my Shepherd; I nothing here shall lack.
All things serve me for my best and naught can set me back.
How can I be fearful for the valley dark and cold?
For through it Jesus leads His sheep into the fold.
3.
Yes, Jesus is my fortress; a mighty Rock is He,
And a mighty Helper who in trials strengthens me.
Even if the seas do rage and mountains start to shake,
I still have peace, for I in Him my refuge take.
4.
I’m happy in my Savior; He makes my heart to sing.
From the tearful valley shall flow forth a blessed spring.
In my need and sorrow has my heart a comfort found:
The time is near that we shall hear the trumpet sound.
Chorus:
Then He is coming; O happy, glorious day!
Then for Jesus’ bride shall all her sorrows pass away.
Think what rejoicing will arise from all of them
Who then may move into the New Jerusalem!
