The grace of God is more abundant
Than all your sin and fear and need.
Why go on living for the temp’ral,
When you have found the truth indeed?
The life of God shall be your portion,
If you will cast all else aside
To live wholeheartedly before Him
And in His laws of life abide.

Go forth in faith with full assurance;
Do not draw back into the mire,
But stand the test laid now before you,
As you meet obstacles and fire.
A proven faith is far more precious
Than gold or greatness here on earth.
For they who stand shall live forever,
When God destroys what has no worth.

Abound in God in all your trials,
Yes, full of faith, midst toil and pain.
For by His mighty power strengthened,
You shall, with joy, all patience gain.
Let’s strive with all that is within us
To make our call, election sure.
Soon with great joy, the new song singing,
We’ll stand before Him, tried and pure.
