Just think how great it is to live for Jesus
And have a heart that’s true and pure for Him,
To hate this evil world and stand victorious,
And have God’s Spirit and His peace within.

O dear young people, you must start contending!
Let us go forward; there’s no time to wait.
There are so few who fight without relenting.
Do not delay; it soon will be too late.

Flee from all youthful lusts and vain distraction.
Deny yourself and dwell here in the light.
Together with God’s princes, go to action.
We will with all our hearts for Zion fight.

Let’s praise our God who had such great compassion;
He showed you grace and mercy from above.
He has delivered you from sin’s destruction.
Extol and praise Him for His boundless love!
