The time is right; this is the needful hour.
You’ve said that trials of faith we must go through.
Help me, O God, to conquer by Your power;
For to win more than vict’ry pleases You.

So in this hour I’ll glorify my Jesus!
With all my heart, my thanks to Him I give.
The way which He Himself did open frees us,
So we this rich and glorious life can live.

Yes, He has suffered; He like us was tempted,
But always more than vict’ry Jesus gained.
All sin within His flesh He fully conquered,
And all God’s fullness, therefore, He attained.

4.

May each of us be far more apprehended
By this same faith that stands when it is tried—
This faith that manifests in life Christ’s virtues.
Thus God is truly praised and glorified.
