There's a sun with light and warmth that we've been given

1.
There’s a sun with light and warmth that we’ve been given—
Not the one that shines above on sunny days.
How it sets our hearts aglow with beams from heaven
When we let it fill our hearts with warming rays.
Chorus:
Let sunbeams shine into your heart and mind.
O let them bring you joy and summertime.
/: This sun will never, ever set again. :/
2.
Many people in their hearts are cold and frigid;
They bring suff’rings on themselves and others too.
What a woe to have a heart that’s hard and rigid.
May the sun with pow’r and light start beaming through.
3.
Many things are hidden in the heart’s recesses.
Warmth and thawing just the sun alone can bring.
Winter flees when summer sunshine warms and blesses.
You’ll be glad at once, and you will also sing:
4.
In the heart proud eyes begin and have their center;
Grudges also fester deep within the heart.
Therefore, heav’nly sun into the heart must enter
And its wholesome, pure, and warming rays impart.
5.
When your heart with heav’nly light is radiating,
You, yourself, become a sun in all you do.
Who can keep these gentle rays from penetrating,
Which from heaven are reflected out through you?
