God strengthens all His warriors, fills them with pow’r and might,
Those who in war and vict’ry zealously for Him fight.
He’ll give a victor’s crown to all those who overcome;
Our mighty Captain won’t forget a single one.

God’s Word uplifts the weak with courage to fight and win.
Faith’s mighty power fills us! We’ll trample every sin!
We’re heading for Mount Zion; that is our only goal!
God’s valiant heroes wait for us, so onward go.

There’s not a sin can live if you would this Mount ascend.
Cherubim with their swords will ever its gates defend.
Love therefore God’s true prophets, those with His zeal and fire.
Fight to abide in Jesus’ death, and never tire.

Soon we will hear the trumpet! Jesus our Lord we’ll see!
All those who then are ready, caught up to Him will be.
Then times of grace are over—finished on earth our fight.
Use now your youth time for the Lord; yes, use it right.
