Your youth now come with hearts ablaze

1.
Your youth now come with hearts ablaze—
So jub’lant, strong, and bold!
They shine like dew in dawn’s clear rays.
God’s mighty works unfold.
/: Their path is bright; their feet are blest!
What splendor’s manifest! :/
Chorus:
See how God’s youth now come!
They gather to God’s Son.
With honor clothed, they pow’r receive,
For they God’s Word believe.
They do not fear the shame.
They look to Christ who came
From Bozrah with His clothes blood-stained.
Alone, He triumph gained!
2.
The winepress Christ alone has trod
In vengeance of the Lord.
Out from Him flowed the Word of God—
Life-giving streams outpoured.
/: Dear youth, so strong, with fire ablaze,
Stand fast in all your ways! :/
3.
See David, young and strong was he—
In faith and pow’r stood true—
Fought bear and lion fearlessly,
Then fought Goliath too.
/: He slew each foe, and by God’s hand
Wrought peace throughout the land. :/
