On her coronation day

1.
On her coronation day,
Jesus’ bride in pure array
Stands before the God of all.
She’s fulfilled her Bridegroom’s call.
2.
Worthy has become the bride;
All she risked, laid all aside
To be holy and sincere,
Worthy of her Bridegroom dear.
3.
Suff’ring, striving ’gainst all sin,
For the crown she fought to win;
And herself she reckoned dead,
Lived alone for Christ, her Head.
4.
Judgment’s light and chast’ning rod
Have refined her for her God.
Spotless, full of joy is she,
Clothed in holy purity.
5.
Heav’n is home for Jesus’ bride.
Evermore she’ll there abide.
Suff’rings are forgotten there
In her heav’nly palace fair.
