It is true just as we’ve read it:
We’re God’s people; He has said it,
And He frees us from unrighteousness and sin.
On Mount Zion we are living;
Death to self-life now is giving
Us the access so that we can enter in.

Heaven’s kingdom is so hidden
From the wisdom of this world that no
proud spirits can get in.
Pride must end now! You must bend now!
You’ve been blinded by highmindedness and sin.

We by faith obey God’s leading.
What we hear from Him we’re heeding.
God’s revealing how His house has been designed.
Those ashamed and bowed and lowly,
Who give all to seek Him solely,
He’ll give insight so they know His plans and mind.

Zadok’s sons we here will mention—
To serve God, their one intention.
God rewarded them for their great faithfulness.
They alone the Lord were serving
And the ways of God preserving
When the people followed after foolishness.
(Ezekiel. 44)

They great honor have been given:
Priests that serve the Lord of heaven,
They will offer fat and blood before His face.
But the Levites who’d been straying,
Thus their faithlessness displaying,
As but keepers of God’s house they’ll have their place.

Zadok’s sons are insight given,
With perception sent from heaven.
They discern between the holy and profane.
They declare God’s judgments clearly,
For they seek out truth sincerely.
This world’s glory and its greatness they disdain.

6.

Cleansed from sin and from transgression,
They can therefore give instruction.
They the difference teach between the vile and pure.
They the privilege are given—
Off’rings make to God in heaven;
This decree shall in all Israèl endure.

7.

At the altar they are serving,
Of this ministry deserving—
Sons of Zadok in the temple shall remain.
All for this they’re dedicating:
Sin from spirit, separating.
They as priests perform what God’s Word does ordain.

8.

We give thanks to God in heaven
That His light we have been given
As we hasten t’ward the end in these last days.
With hearts contrite, bowed, and lowly
We with joy are yielded wholly,
As we enter into Sabbath rest with praise.
