512. Prayer Day Conference 1941

The Prayer Day conference in Hokksund was very blessed. Between three to four hundred people were gathered. Three brothers and two sisters came from Trondheim, and one brother came from Ålesund.

We heard about God’s sovereign power to create. In six days He not only created all the animals, people, and the natural world, but He also engraved His laws within them for their life and existence. Then God rested on the seventh day. We, too, can rest from all our works when we enter into His rest.

Brothers Aslaksen and Bratlie attended the conference in Stavanger. Many friends from Bergen also came there. The brothers wrote that it was a very blessed conference.

God is blessing the work everywhere, so we have to split up in order to reach as many people as possible. We almost need to have conferences in East and West Norway simultaneously during the main public holidays.

God’s Word testifies that the Word is to be lived and done—this is the secret of development and blessing. “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” should be our prayer and our motto. Then everything becomes very simple and straightforward. The flesh, with all its lusts and pride, has no say. We all become as great and as small as each other. In that Spirit there is enough room for all of us, and there is full freedom.

That is the way we have it, and that is why it is so blessed.
