501. Pentecost Conference 1939

About four hundred people were gathered in the Gymnasium in Drammen. Drammen is a central location for conferences. The friends from Oslo traveled home at night and came back in the morning, as it is such a short distance for them. Many people came from Bagn, Hallingdal, Hokksund, Kristiansand, Horten, Tønsberg, etc.

We had a blessed conference with many testimonies. It is so good just to see the friends conference after conference. Everyone has their own trials and hardships. Some cry, others rejoice and laugh. It is amazing that in order for our hearts to melt together into fellowship in the Spirit, there are many things we must cleanse ourselves from and many things to overcome. But with perseverance and godly fear we shall overcome the world and our own flesh. Just endure, we will soon be home. The conferences are milestones which we fight to reach, and then we meet as victors and we celebrate.

Aksel, my son, and brother Oscar Hansen from Horten were at the Måløy conference this time. I hope that they have had a good conference there too.

So now we are looking forward to the conference at Nesbyen, where many friends usually gather, also from West Norway. We need much prayer and love both for God and people. Pray for the Nesbyen conference and for the friends.
