495. Nesbyen Conference 1938

How time flies over the ocean of eternity! Another conference is over, a conference we were recently looking forward to as an event in the distant future.

We have never tried to attract the masses, because we know that having many people will lead to many battles and adversities. Nevertheless, people come from all over the place, so soon it will be too crowded in Nesbyen as well. About three hundred and fifty people had registered for accommodation. In addition, many people from the local district came, so in total around four hundred people were present. Friends came from Finnmark, Trondheim, Kristiansund, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand, Brevik, Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg, Oslo, Horten, Tønsberg, Sandefjord, Hønefoss, Trysil, Flisa, and other places.

It was a blessed conference with many good testimonies. The more resistance there is, the more progress we make, both inwardly and outwardly. We preached the cross and death over all flesh, and this Word gives rich nourishment. The harlot, who destroys the whole earth and sits on many waters, also received a message. When the friends left, they were thankful and happy. The Word they received will continue to effectively work in them.
