494. Pentecost Conference 1938

The conference in Skien was extremely blessed. About 400 of us were gathered from every direction. The elder brothers are becoming more mature, and we experience progress and seriousness from the preaching of the Word. That is right; that is how it should be. At our conferences, many servants of the Word and of the Spirit gather from many different places. The training they are getting in their home churches benefits the entire conference.

It is as if we live in a forest by ourselves, in quietness outside the camp, away from everyone and everything. Here we are being made ready for the kingdom of heaven, unto God’s honor and praise. We would not want it any other way.
