479. The Evangelical Work 1936

Brothers Sigurd Bratlie, Aksel J. Smith, Elihu Pedersen, and Ronald Henriksen have been working for the ministry of the gospel in Trysil, Lørdalen, Kjelmyra, and Flisa for about one and a half months. After that they had a couple of meetings in Koppang at brother Thorsrud’s place, after which they traveled to Trondheim with brother Skotland’s car.

I must say that the brothers have done a good work up there—God be honored and praised for that! Many have been saved from the world, and several more have been saved out of darkness into God’s marvelous light, so they are able to see the way into a deeper life in God. It is becoming apparent now, as always, that the Word of the cross is a power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, so that the princes of darkness are compelled to depart from people. And then light, freedom, and peace enter and do wonders.

We have received letters from several quarters requesting visits from these brothers, but at the moment they are planning to stay in Trondheim until Easter and then come to Horten for the conference.

Pray for these dear brothers, that the Word may make progress through their work in the time to come.
