478. Skjulte Skatter 25 Years 1936
Skjulte Skatter is now entering its 25th year of publication. The paper has developed just as we have. So the light God has given us has been passed on through the paper. All of it has been by grace through the faith of Jesus Christ. So we are thankful to God for all these blessed years that we have been allowed to work with the paper. We want to give special thanks to brother Aslaksen and to all the other faithful brothers who have made weighty contributions to the paper.
We also want to use this opportunity to remember our deeply beloved and highly esteemed brother Aksel Smith, who was the first one to suggest we needed to publish a paper. His actual words were: “It is totally unacceptable to keep to ourselves all these glorious truths that we sit and speak about together. We must publish a paper that can bring God’s light to others.” Aksel Smith was the co-editor of Skjulte Skatter from the first issue of the paper in January 1912 through January 1919, when God took him home after a service well done.
