With jubilation we now sing!

1.
With jubilation we now sing!
Forevermore our thanks we’ll bring.
We praise our God for all His kindness shown,
The wonders He’s made known.
The only thing for us of worth
Is Jesus and His Church on earth,
With all His servants who the standard raise.
For them, the Lord we praise.
Chorus:
Praised be God who reigns on high—
Sing with jubilation!
Jesus Christ we magnify—
Captain of salvation!
Thanks for godly brothers true;
God’s Word they proclaim and do.
Loudly sing! Loudly sing!
Let our praises ring!
2.
Praise Him that in the Church we’re placed.
The mind of fathers here we taste.
We’re given courage and a zeal to fight
With faith through darkest night.
With burning fire the Spirit reigns,
And thus the world no access gains.
The Word and cross of Christ uphold our ways.
To God be thanks and praise!
3.
Praise Him for men the Spirit guides—
Each one who in God’s will abides.
They pray and spend themselves for everyone
And filthy lucre shun.
They’ve gained true worth through lowliness.
Yes, we can follow lives like this.
Soon our Chief Shepherd will in glory come
To crown each faithful one.
