All God's ways and thoughts exalted are

1.
All God’s ways and thoughts exalted are
Far beyond our thoughts, O so much higher—
Yes, like heav’n above the earth, so far—
And with tender love His heart’s on fire.
Chorus:
All God’s ways and His grace
We can’t understand or measure.
But His Word’s a light upon our path;
This believe, and you’ll find hidden treasure.
2.
Word of God—a lamp unto our feet—
’Tis in drought a cool, refreshing shower,
Bringing hope anew and comfort sweet;
Like the sun, it shines with light and power.
3.
When we walk in light the Word imparts,
With a mind that’s faithful, meek, and willing,
And in God believe with all our hearts,
Then His will for us we are fulfilling.
4.
Now we enter into faith’s true rest,
Far from sin’s anxiety and sadness.
Here we firmly stand in all life’s tests
And taste fruits of victory with gladness.
