That true Life which is the Light of man

1.
That true Life which is the Light of man
Is in Christ the Savior manifested.
Now to all it’s offered in His plan;
Through “the body” it’s revealed and tested.
Chorus:
That same life, that same light
Must be spread to every nation.
Lord, send workers; bless them in Your sight—
Those who sow the Gospel of salvation.
2.
Souls no longer need to walk in dread
Through dark wastelands, in their anguish pining.
They can now arise up from the dead.
Christ Himself for them will then start shining.
3.
This true Life is like the year’s new wine,
And old wineskins simply can’t contain it.
It expands and grows with pow’r divine,
And it breaks the forms that would restrain it.
4.
Life must grow and find its own new form;
God reveals it, gives us comprehension.
It cannot be chained down to a norm.
To God’s promptings we must give attention.
Chorus:
Like the wind when it blows,
Yet you know not where it’s bidden,
Oft the Spirit new directions goes,
And He seeks out things both deep and hidden.
