Gifts from the Lord unto us have abounded.
These we must faithfully use by His grace.
Let us invest so the profit’s compounded;
Find the best way, and then quicken the pace.
Diff’ring in function, yet the same unction;
Some have one talent, some two, and some five.
With such potential, it is essential
To use them well so Christ’s body can thrive.

Do not despise what the Lord has imparted.
How people measure you isn’t your guide.
God has a use for you if you’re wholehearted.
Someone’s in need of what you can provide.
Jesus is speaking; all honor-seeking—
Put it to death so that you can break through.
By His joy driven; give what you’re given.
No more than this is required of you.
