Strive to win the victors' crown

1.
Strive to win the victors’ crown.
Through suff’rings of the cross it’s won.
Learn the tones that soon will sound
When endless summer has begun.
Jesus’ bride gains joy and blessing—
Glory far beyond compare.
Are then suff’rings so distressing
When all good with Christ we’ll share?
2.
Lord, anoint my inner eyes,
That with my heart I clearly see,
As Your heir, the victors’ prize.
All else will then be dross to me.
Grant the joy of Your salvation.
Lord, refresh me with Your love.
Fill my heart with adoration!
Be my all, dear Lord above.
