In my Savior and Lord I rejoice,
And to keep all His Word is my choice.

For the Lord has done great things for me! :/

God has seen every innermost thought.
All the haughty and proud come to naught.
/: Self-exalted men all
From their heights have to fall.
God will raise up the lowly and small. :/

To the hungry good gifts He does give,
While the rich in their emptiness live.
/: All who trust and believe,
His great mercy receive.
God is mighty, and holy is He. :/
