1.

The Father of Lights gives us power and might.
This power divine leads from darkness to light.
Our minds were so dark—to God’s covenant blind.
By faith we have laid hold of Jesus’ mind.

2.

He cleanses us first from our sin and from shame,
When we come to faith and believe in His name.
By faith He can enter and in our hearts live.
Both Spirit and water then witness give.

3.

Light shines on the veil of our flesh—our own sin.
Through death, to the Holiest Place we go in.
Our soul has an anchor of hope, for Christ went
Through all of the flesh, and the veil was rent.

4.

God’s laws are engraved in our heart and our mind,
And if we obey them, the footsteps we’ll find,
Which Jesus has left for all those who believe.
Then witnesses three we by blood receive.

5.

Anointing God gives which will make all things known;
A new name we’re given, upon a white stone.
Arrayed in fine linen, dear Lord, as Your bride,
Dear Jesus, I’ll ever be at Your side.
