It's singing, it's singing within me

1.
It’s singing, it’s singing within me;
The song of all songs I hear.
I know this refrain rings so clearly
In each to whom Jesus is dear.
When hands of the Bridegroom are touching
Upon my heart’s tenderest strings,
Then right in the midst of life’s suff’rings,
O how my spirit sings.
Chorus:
O Jesus Christ, Thy bride I’ll be,
For Thou, Thyself, hast chosen me.
Thy voice so deeply moves my heart;
My life, my hope Thou art.
2.
It wells up, it wells up within me;
The heavenly song resounds.
But how can I give it expression?
O how can I capture these tones?
My joy is so deep and consuming,
I no longer silent can be.
Dear brother and sister in spirit,
Come sing along with me.
Chorus:
Too great for me Thy ways to see;
Yet, Lord, I know Thou lovest me.
I’m to Thine habitation drawn;
Forever I’m Thine own.
3.
Whenever I meet tribulation,
God measures it for my best.
It brings to me joy as a fountain
When I from Him take it in rest.
’Tis through tribulations and testings
That I to God’s kingdom go in.
That I may partake of Christ’s suff’rings
Proves that I’m loved of Him.
Chorus:
O Jesus Christ, ’tis right for me
In holy fear to worship Thee.
My heart doth ever long to sing
Thy praise, O Lord and King!
