We're young and strong we'll follow Jesus

1.
We’re young and strong; we’ll follow Jesus,
Gladly keeping all His Word.
All other teachings we’ve rejected,
For now we wholly love our Lord.
Chorus:
We from youthful lusts are fleeing hard;
And our Savior’s laws drive all folly out.
Jesus soon will fetch His precious bride,
For the time is very short.
2.
We’ll serve our God while we are youthful,
In the springtime of our day.
We count all worldly show disdainful,
For soon the world will pass away.
3.
In Jesus’ footsteps we will follow,
Living pure and right for Him.
We’ll not be swayed at all by others
Who have their glory in their shame.
4.
We’ll follow after Jesus’ virtues,
Giving earthly things no place.
“Behold, He cometh!”—soon we’ll hear it,
And then will end the time of grace.
Chorus:
Always forward, forward—never stop!
God will give us pow’r in temptation’s hour.
See the goal: the crown of righteousness
And a pure and spotless dress.
