We are drawn together in a brotherhood

1.
We are drawn together
in a brotherhood
Which fulfills our longing
for the pure and good.
2.
Love among the brothers
better is on earth
Than the joys of E den;
so we sing its worth.
3.
“Jonathan, my brother,
all the love from thee
Was life’s greatest blessing—
wonderful to me.”
(2 Sam. 1:26)
4.
Thus declared King David;
this great truth he found
When they laid his brother
in the somber ground.
5.
Brotherhood be honored
all throughout our life,
For it is a comfort
in our daily strife.
6.
Guile cannot abide there,
only faithfulness.
Highly ’tis exalted;
with its light doth bless.
7.
Brotherhood must always
strong and constant be,
Holy and unblemished
till eternity.
(Heb. 13:1)
