My heart with joy is singing! In Jesus I delight.
He set me free from darkness and made my pathway bright.
By Jesus’ light I’m quickened; I forward go with praise.
I’m thus preserved from folly and sin’s deceitful ways.

Christ freed me from death’s power, from cruel bands of sin.
To God’s eternal cov’nant, so new, I’ve entered in.
The Spirit is the seal for God’s cov’nant with His heirs.
When water and the blood flow, the Spirit witness bears.

Yes, here is heaven’s doorway where gold that’s tried is bought
By all who have uprightly God’s testimony sought.
Before it can be useful, God’s fire it must endure.
The truth will then bear witness to all that’s fast and sure.

So therefore we must fight for the faith that we’ve received—
This faith that Jesus gave us the day we first believed.
For foolishness is rampant, and flesh is folly’s friend.
If you want heaven opened, with Sword you must contend.

Wherever we have conquered, there God will plant and build.
The bride will there be formed and with fruits of life be filled.
We’re armed with pow’r from God, sober minds, and clarity.
Let’s work while we have time. Light and salt for Him we’ll be.
