Members of Christ

We have no desire to change places if we are members of the body of Christ. We are chosen members with chosen ministries. There is good room for all of us.

The church is a work of God; it is an eternal and glorious building. If we enter into the laws of blessing in the body of Christ, we will also have sufficient oil of blessing with which to bless the others.

Every single Word of God which we have received into our hearts through the Spirit of revelation is a defense against all evil. Peter said, “You are . . . the Son of the living God.” The church is to be built in this Spirit of revelation, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

In today’s religious world the doors are wide open to the world and the spirit of the times. It is useless to try to restrain this strong spirit with the usual words of God without God’s wisdom and power combined with the word of the cross.

We need to hear in our hearts what the Spirit says to the church. He spoke about victory to all the seven churches. This is a mighty Spirit who has conquered all other spirits. He is full of power to unite all the members with Christ as Head. This Spirit is united with God’s fire and love. He is united with the seven Spirits of God which are the seven lamps of fire that protect the throne of God.

If we walk in this Spirit, we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Our life will become rich and interesting.

We must make every effort to be preserved in this one Spirit so that strange spirit powers cannot enter in.

“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to have a walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism.” Eph. 4:1-5.
