Boiling Hot Love

We can rightly say that the Sermon on the Mount and all standing orders and exhortations we have in the New Testament, also in the Song of Solomon, are a unique and vibrant love letter from the Bridegroom! How many boiling hot love letters have you sent Him in return, and how large is the flow of love letters that usually goes out from you to your fellow brothers and sisters?

Perhaps you are one of those abhorrent, lukewarm, and sluggish brothers or sisters who almost don’t care to do anything of what comes naturally for anyone who is filled with the love of Christ!? Begin today with all that is in you, and never slack off again!

This fervent, boiling, burning hot love goes to the limit! It is extreme in everything that is good and noble! It knows no limits to its actions, to everything it bears, suffers, endures, and sacrifices, to all the evil it requites with good, to all it hopes and believes, and to all the longsuffering with the others that it possesses. It is blameless in the good! Its understanding and desire is: More! More! Better! Better! Even better yet! Not another time, but now, right away! Not a little bit, but much! Not saving, but sacrificing and casting abroad! Money out of the wallet! Good and useful words out of the mouth! And as much as possible, and profitable, down on paper! The Post Office is there for everyone who loves his friends and his fellow man. It is a good “office” and is very cheap, almost outstandingly cheap now in these days when so much is so abnormally expensive!

Do not neglect to make use of it! “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” Jas. 4:17. You cannot in truth say that you do not know that we have a Post Office, that there is something that is called a letter and a postcard! And it does not have to be four pages long or even four lines to be edifying!

Curse all kinds of possible excuses for not loving in deed and in truth! Because all of them are false! They are not acceptable to God, He who is the righteous Judge of all and is ready both night and day to fill you with His boiling hot, burning love!!!

It is truly the best “fuel” of all times! Fill up with it today, so we can live and work together for His pleasure!
