Perfect Unity and Harmony

Perfect Unity and Harmony

We are called to be perfect, not lacking anything; therefore we are also called to perfect unity and harmony. This is surely one thing that almost no converted person has believed in the least, throughout the centuries since Jesus’ work was finished. John, Chapter 17 is crystal clear and unambiguous, as is all God’s Word. There is therefore no excuse whatsoever for this shameful unbelief.

All salvation occurs through faith in Christ’s work and through faith in each single word of life in the New Testament. Those who have become Christ’s apprentices by forsaking everything have an opportunity to believe in something as superhumanly great and glorious as has no one else. It is therefore impossible for most people. Consequently, all such people are perfectly correct as far as it concerns them. This divine unity eventually becomes a fact when we have overcome all conscious sin by faith and have partaken of a certain amount of sanctification, so that we no longer live for ourselves but are always constrained by the love of Christ and are full of peaceableness, goodness, and wisdom. The absolutely living, personal faith in this divine unity, harmony, and perfect accord forbids and excludes everything possible that could make the least exception to this unity. Thus it becomes a fact that is noticeable—visible, and audible to all the saints, as well as for others who are close by, seeing that it is written that we shall love one another.

The sooner you receive a living faith in and a fervent love for this divine unity, the more quickly you partake of it!!! Faith in it and love for it is and remains the main thing! My beloved brothers, believe with everything that is in you, and speak about it, as it is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke.” 2 Cor. 4:13.
