Irreproachable, Blameless, Innocent, Faultless

Irreproachable, Blameless, Innocent, Faultless

The Son of God and the Son of Man, Jesus Christ—our Lord and Master, was blameless and innocent, yet He was condemned to death for blasphemy. As the innocent Lamb of God that He was, He became an atonement for our numerous sins, and therefore has the right and the power to forgive sins.

This is what every so-called professing Christian believes. However, when it concerns us, who is there among the thousands of this world’s “believers” who believes the undeniably clear words of the New Testament that we are called to be holy and blameless and irreproachable and faultless—without spot or wrinkle or any such thing—now, during the time of our sojourn?

Unfortunately, concerning this, most believers are extremely unbiblical, unbelieving, and blind. Despite the fact that the New Testament speaks about almost nothing else but this particular change and transformation and sanctification and this divine, exalted goal of our faith and life, most people cannot see it. They are blind to the point of being opponents of this great and glorious salvation.

This is an indescribably sad fact. Eph. 1:4-6; Col. 1:22-23 and 28-29.
