Born of God
“He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” 1 John 5:18.
According to this, written by the one who is called the apostle of love, there are not many from among all the people who are converted, who are born of God. We cannot correct or change God’s words, the very words that will remain after heaven and earth have passed away. However, we must radically change our opinions and misunderstandings so that we live in harmony with God’s words.
The particularly significant aspect of this word is that he who is born of God keeps himself from sinning to such an extent that the wicked one—Satan—does not touch him.
The apostle John uses the strongest words possible concerning this! He was not only an apostle of love, but he was also an exceptional apostle of truth! Instead of rejecting or skipping over his radical words, we ought to reject with all our strength, our unbelief in the Word so that we, through faith, can experience the truth of such radical, true, and indescribably glorious words! It sounds unbelievable, but it is true nevertheless! Of course!
Of course there is a daunting condition: You must absolutely and sincerely forsake everything of your own for the rest of your life!
