With Anointed Eyes
If we have anointed eyes, we can always rejoice in our exceedingly great and high and holy calling. Eph. 1:17-23. Then we get to know the exceeding greatness of His power according to the working of His mighty power. The Spirit that is in us is stronger than any other spirit and power. Anxiety and unbelief keep people in discouragement and depression, but faith lifts us up, and we are filled with an inner, unshakable peace and joy regardless of what circumstances we are in. God loves us! He is a master in helping us. He comforts and surrounds us with mercy from now until eternity. He notices our faithfulness in trials, and He rewards richly.
We pass through different times in our life. The Scriptures give us blessed laws for children, young people, and older people. We will obtain riches and treasures in the heavenly mansions into which we will have an abundant entrance if we pay attention to our high and holy calling, beginning in our youth.
Our life will be interesting and blessed at all stages if we understand that the way of glory is the way of sacrifice. We will be spared emptiness, darkness, and discomfort. Jesus’ steps are blessed steps in light and joy, whereas the way of the ungodly is utter darkness—a way without hope and without God.
The time of youth can be exceedingly rich, whether one is married or single. God is not a respecter of persons; He rewards richly according to each one’s effort in the work of faith.
If you enter marriage and receive children, you need to pay heed to your high calling as a mother or father. You need to look at each child as a great gift that has been entrusted to you. Each one of them is worth more than the most precious jewels. No earthly treasures can outweigh any one of them. If your children are going through a difficult time, never doubt that you will take them with you into God’s kingdom; bring them in faith before God who has given them to you. God loves them more dearly than we can love them. Both we and our children are God’s work, and He will bring all things to completion to His glory. The firmness of faith and the warmth of love work wonders. God’s goodness will lead them to repentance. Rom. 2:4.
If the situation with the children should appear to be difficult at times—even very difficult—you must nevertheless hold on to faith, which keeps us on a firm and unshakable foundation so that we do not ever have to fall into the pit of unbelief and discouragement!
The day of our gathering with Christ and all His saints in the heavenly light and glorious mansions is near. Let us look forward to that day with the greatest joy!
