Miscarriage of Justice
The greatest miscarriage of justice that has ever occurred took place when the high priests and the scribes sentenced Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to death for blasphemy.
However, the Father permitted it, for thereby Jesus, who never sinned, atoned for our sins so that we who deserved death could be saved. Glory to God for His unspeakably great love for us! But pity the ones who instigated this miscarriage of justice!
The true, sound teaching is this: “Do not judge your neighbor,” and “Judge yourself.” It is extremely risky to judge another instead of judging yourself. It is similar to a miscarriage of justice; it is like accusing the baker when it is the blacksmith who sinned.
Romans 2:1-3 are some of the most serious words in the entire Bible! “Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.” It is not written if you do the same things; it is actually the case every time.
It can go very well with those who have been judged, but those who judge have, according to this word, condemned themselves to death!
God’s administration of justice is perfect; He does not misjudge anyone. God’s lawbook is perfect. Everyone will be judged righteously according to this Book! Pity every person who, to a greater or lesser extent, suffers from this lust to judge, or who even judges his neighbor only a little bit—only once in a while.
