Absolutely

Absolutely

In a French Bible translation we read: “You irresolute men!” This is extremely significant! Nothing worth mentioning can ever come of anything at all—whether it concerns earthly or spiritual things—without an absolute, definite decision being made. We are absolutely called to partake of divine nature in every single virtue that can be named!

We are called to be absolutely truthful, absolutely righteous, absolutely merciful, absolutely patient, and absolutely longsuffering, besides being absolutely meek and quiet, namely on the day of adversity and when we are contradicted, judged, and condemned, etc.

It is our heavenly calling to absolutely, from the heart, forgive and love anyone and everyone—irrespective of how bad a state some of them might be in!

If we reach the goal, we have become absolutely thankful for and satisfied with everything and everyone. Then we have attained to an absolutely ever-present rest in God, on the basis of our absolute confidence in God’s perfect guidance of everything and everyone! Everything will then become absolute realities through living faith in—and absolute obedience to—all the true and glorious words of life. In this way we will absolutely—in reality—be the bride of Jesus Christ.
