Slaves of Sin

“Whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” Most assuredly, this is how it is, Jesus said. In other words, there is almost no other kind of people in this world, whether they are unconverted or converted! Most converted people continue to sin as long as they live, because they do not believe God’s various words about victory over all sin. They do not abide in the Word and are therefore not Jesus’ true disciples who are being set free from sinning as it is very clearly written in John 8:31-36.
