GOD
What is His fundamental interest? To prepare a like-minded bride for Jesus Christ; to prepare like-minded, true brothers for Him, brothers who can share all things with Him!
For this to happen, a re-creation, a transformation obviously has to occur inwardly while we are on this earth, in the days of our flesh.
This is precisely why we red about almost nothing else in the New Testament, whereas those who are, spiritually speaking, blind, read almost exclusively about being pardoned, despite the fact that very little is written about it, because what is written about this simple, necessary matter, is quite sufficient.
Romans 8:28 is particularly significant for those few who, by being re-created and transformed, become partakers of divine nature! God has begun a tremendous work so that something like this can take place! He has innumerable strings in His hands, pulling them in such a way that everything and everyone, either with or against his will, must say and do or avoid saying and doing exactly what is for his best, what is most suitable for the work of salvation that God is accomplishing in his inward man! This surpasses all comprehension! However, we do not need to understand it!
He does it anyway in each one who has forsaken everything, who believes His Word, loves it, and lives according to it. He is able to accomplish this almost unbelievable, marvelously great work during the course of our time of grace! May His great name be highly praised!
Therefore all kinds of things are only to our advantage—only income—for every such person. In the deepest sense of the word, adversities do not even exist when this is our mindset and we react according to it!
God loves every such person extremely much! His love is without limits! He cannot act otherwise! He is mighty to work the same in everyone who believes! Their growth proceeds like this: cannot—can—cannot do anything else.
God also does the best that is possible, according to the laws of the Spirit of life, for each person, and He cannot do anything else!
God is gentle as well as strict, for the simple reason that it is just what we all need for our best!
God is only interested in making us perfectly happy and enabling us to help others to be that as well, that we become like Jesus Christ and are a worthy bride for Him, and that we are true, genuine brothers! Rom. 8:29; Heb. 2:11; Matt. 12:30.
One of the most difficult things is to really believe that God loves us as indescribably much as He actually does! Rom. 8:17.
