“Pursue Love”

1 Corinthians 14:1

In the deepest sense, in a real sense, and in a biblical sense, there is a dire lack of the love of God and of Christ, of divine love among the vast majority of converted people on earth.

There is a dire lack of being filled and saturated by this love, of having received it as an indwelling, always present and dynamic, motivating force!

Love is an indescribable, extremely great and extremely glorious power. It is so great that it is impossible to be filled with it and not keep all of God’s commandments and commands in the new covenant! Having it rule in your heart is the same as possessing all of its qualities that are mentioned in 1 Corinthians 13 and in other places!

Most people are indescribably superficial, and indescribably unbelieving. They believe extremely few of all the glorious words that are written in the Bible. They can’t even see exactly where it is written, for they are blind, spiritually speaking.

People cannot even see the very clear writing that if you possess many other things, but do not have this love with all its accompanying qualities, you are nothing! Then, everything else profits nothing.

It is no wonder that the same Paul writes in Galatians 5:6 that the only thing that avails anything is faith working through love. Everything that is not done in and through love is invalid. It is not acknowledged by God.

If we—because we believe it with all our heart—know that this is the case, it is utterly meaningless if we do not concentrate on pursuing this blessed love of God that is such a wonderful and effective, divine power in which we can accomplish things that are otherwise unimaginable!!!

Therefore, dear brother and sister, whatever you do or do not do, give your all to obtain this love! Begin to do it immediately and cut out quite a few other things that must of necessity be less important than this!

By doing this, you will please God in the extreme! I wish you all the best with accomplishing this very important main task.
