Is It That Bad to Be Tested?

On the contrary! No! Those who speak and think like that have a misconception of life and of the way of salvation! They are far from God’s wisdom.

We can rightly say that all of salvation consists of being tested and being victorious, instead of falling, in every single trial.

Not only that, but there are only advantages to being tested. If I do not pass the test, I have thereby received the perfect evidence of my lack of what was required to be victorious. And thus I am encouraged to seek what I was lacking.

I have a good suggestion for being thoroughly convinced that being tested is good. Open up the Bible concordance under “trial(s)” and read everything about it. Then you are bound to get the impression that it is very important, and that virtually everything concerns this very point! Tested, and after having overcome everything, to stand! And then receive the crown of life! Jas. 1:12.
