Your Resolutions

Your resolutions show that you are not ignorant of what you ought to do.

Exaggerations, completely incorrect expressions, inaccuracy, carelessness, thoughtlessness, empty talk, utterly superfluous words—all of this is without any benefit whatsoever. On the contrary!

For the most part, all of these are old, inherent, unchristian vices that are rampant in daily life!

The sum total of this is called not bridling the tongue. It runs amok without any control whatsoever. This is extremely dangerous! Jas. 1:26.
