The Same Opportunities

We all have the same opportunities as far as salvation and transformation are concerned: the same gospel, the same conditions, the same promises, the same flesh, the same difficulties. The same power to overcome the same difficulties is available to all of us.

Since some people have received great grace from God and have advanced relatively far on the way, being among the leaders who always serve others with what they have to give, the common understanding is that this is how it is and it could not have been different, and it never will be different.

Paul would visit the Thessalonians and perfect what was still lacking in their faith. 1 Thess. 3:10. Could it not have been the opposite? Yes, rightly understood it could have been the opposite so that some in Thessalonica could have perfected what was lacking in Paul’s faith. However, this was not the case. The reason was not that Paul had one gospel and the others had a different gospel. The reason was this: Paul loved the same gospel more fervently and devoted himself to obeying the Word more fervently, and was also far more faithful in both small and great!!!

Take note! This is available to every brother and sister! Be encouraged by it, especially you who are still young! There is no special category of priests and preachers in God’s kingdom. That is a total misunderstanding!

Schools and oratorical skills and other qualifications do not give a person any advantage whatsoever and are more of a loss than a gain.

Love, faith, devotion, obedience, faithfulness, and sacrifice are absolutely crucial.

By these things you grow up to become a true servant and fellow worker of God. This is open to each and every one. Glory to God, who is not a respecter of persons!

If you want to achieve great things in God’s kingdom, then you must know that a surpassing faithfulness in the small and the great is the way that leads to it.
