Found in Him

“And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith . . . .” Phil. 3:9.

We cannot experience anything greater here on earth than to be found in Him at all times. Paul counted all things as loss and rubbish to gain Christ and be found in Him.

Our own righteousness and everything we can produce as natural human beings is worthless. We cannot be found in Him with any of it.

We are born into Him through a living faith, and we are baptized with one Spirit to be one body with Him. Then our life’s work has its source in the new, divine life in Him. This results in a righteous life that is grounded in the laws of the Spirit of life and not in the righteousness, which is from the law. Jesus says that if our righteousness does not exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, we will by no means enter the kingdom of God.

Only that which is most excellent is sufficient and fitting for those who are in Him. He Himself equips us with His very own mind and His Spirit. Then we will also become worthy to be used by Him.

Unfortunately, most people are found in money, honor, vanity, haughtiness, houses, automobiles, etc., etc. God called out to Adam, “Where are you?” He was not where He expected to find him.

We can also find many people who are engaged in doing something that is good, but it can be something they are doing in addition to their other interests.

There is no religiosity in Him, but life and abundance of life. This life is a radically separated life in perfect unity with the Father and the Son.

If we are found in Him now with all our interests, we will also be found in Him when the trumpet sounds at the rapture. Paul’s motto was “All things for the gospel.” All those who are found in Him have the same motto.

“When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” Col. 3:4.
