Food for Thought

Without wisdom, it goes badly. Without love, it does not go at all!

Love causes us to embrace speaking the truth to each other, and in that same love we gladly hear the truth being spoken to us. If one of these two is lacking, then love is lacking.

You can also speak the truth so that it ruins and breaks down faith; for example, by getting up at a meeting and saying that you doubt or that you are tempted to give up. You can say this simply to be truthful, having been fooled into saying it by Satan, without thinking of its harmful effects.

You are in dire lack of love when you demand that someone should be different. The nature of love is to help and to give.

The degree to which you are occupied with helping and blessing others, is the degree to which you are in the truth.

Not all awakening is praiseworthy, for when you awaken before Christ’s judgment seat at last, it will be too late to change anything.

Unfortunately, most people love the gifts more than the giver.

It is a sad fact that people who experience healings, signs, wonders, and great benefits, often do not show more love in return. On the contrary, it happens that their love grows weaker! What a terrible lack of thankfulness! Think of the ten lepers—only one out of ten!!!

It is utterly insufficient that you do not wish evil upon someone. That is only negative! You ought to do some good (preferably much) to your neighbor. That is positive.
