“Walk in the Spirit . . .

“Walk in the Spirit . . .

and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Gal. 5:16. Fulfilling the lust of the flesh is the same as falling in temptation; in other words, it is committing sin = sinning.

None of this is going to happen as truly as I continuously walk in the Spirit. Each person who commits a sin of some kind is obviously in the flesh when he sins.

This is quite understandable, for there is neither lack of power, nor weakness, nor any other wickedness or sin in the Holy Spirit. If you are in the Spirit, you are strong and courageous, pure and good.

There is no discouragement; neither is there arrogance, fear and anxiety, unrighteousness, lying, mercilessness, discontent, greed, conceit, offense, envy and jealousy, hypocrisy, backbiting, etc., etc., in the Holy Spirit.

If this Spirit has power in your heart, all the desires of the flesh lose their power.

On average, the fullness of the Spirit and a constant walk in the Spirit are appreciated far, far too little.

If people were really conscious of this, they would always devote themselves to walking in this strong and good Spirit, and sin would, so to speak, not be visible or be observed among believers. Unfortunately, there is quite a lack of interest in this.

The usual way in which people worship God is with their intellect, their knowledge, and with their feelings. Compared to a Spirit-filled person’s walk in the Spirit, this all-to-common life for God is pure wretchedness and poverty. At the same time, you don’t even know how things will progress or end afterwards.

Therefore wake up to this fact before it is too late!
