God’s Masterpiece

“Yes, He loves the people; all His saints are in Your hand; they sit down at Your feet; everyone receives Your words.” Deut. 33:3.

Yes, there they are, and there they will remain, all His saints. They have freely chosen to be there, and they prosper there. There they are molded into the image of Christ, like clay in the potter’s hand. They are His work. They are blessed, and they submit to His treatment. They love Him because He loved them first. They are blessed with every spiritual blessing (Eph. 1:3) and raised up together with Him and are seated together with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Eph. 2:6.

They hate their ego and everything that their ego desires. They hate all pride and affectation. They will have nothing to do with hypocrisy, lying and guile, slander and similar things. They judge themselves when the light shines, making no demands either of God or of men.

They sit down at His feet and are committed to the way of humility, learning. There they learn from their Master who humbled Himself and was obedient to the point of death. They have freed themselves from the earth and are not enticed by what it has to offer. Their great desire is to please their Lord. They prefer to stay in lowly places and do not set their minds on high things.

They receive His words; they love them and prove it by doing them and becoming one with them. They hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and do what He says and nothing else.

They sing of and praise God’s masterpiece and wait for Him to be exalted in His own strength. Ps. 21:13.

He who has all power works all this, for He loves His people and will bless them out of His abundance. Stephen exemplified this; it is written that he was full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and full of grace and power. This was God’s abundant blessing, and he became a witness to the glory of God’s name.
